After reaching an agreement with Porto for the signing of the highly-rated star in May, United had been rejected in their first attempt to secure the necessary documentation as Anderson had failed to win the necessary amount of caps. ' V& M6 ^! l# \4 g/ y# K
However, the Premier League champions appealed on the grounds that Anderson represents a special talent, and the Home Office have now given the green light for the transfer to be completed.
