The Football Association has handed Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson a two-game touchline ban and a ?,000 fine for using abusive words towards referee Mark Clattenburg. 8 T, u8 g' ~9 V

The Red Devils chief will watch from the stands during the trip to West Ham United on 29th December and the home encounter with Birmingham City on New Year's Day.

"As he did not request a personal hearing, the case was dealt with on the basis of written statements and video footage."
