Manchester United forward Carlos Tevez is aiming to back up his double delight with a treble triumph next season…

The Red Devils defeated Chelsea on penalties to claim the Champions League and clinch a memorable double, having already bested the Blues in the Premier League race.

Tevez was a vital part of United’s campaign, netting 19 goals in all competitions following his controversial move from West Ham last summer.

The Argentine international was just 15 years old when United snared their historic Treble in 1999.

Regardless, the former Corinthians man is keen to add an FA Cup to his triumphs next season, insisting the Red Devils have their sights set on replicating the glory of ’99.

“We are ready to do the Treble next season,” Tevez said. “That is what we are aiming for.

“There are always new goals and that keeps driving me on.

“I feel so happy to win the Champions League, it is one of the best days in my life.”
