Land of the rising sun eh? Not today. Gone were the clear skies which have been present throughout our stay in Yokohama so far, instead replaced by driving rain and gusting winds. - 专业·专注·曼联中文网站( |" N/ @1 F# }8 T4 T
The mood at the team hotel in Yokohama remains buoyant despite the dismal weather, although there are still a few members of the travelling party (including some of the players) struggling to fully acclimatise to the new surroundings and the new timezone - myself included.3 O8 `! C+ C! F) R* v, g
After enjoying a short stroll around the shopping mall attached to our hotel after lunch, the squad trained for the first time at Yokohama International Stadium yesterday. I gather from FIFA officials they'll be playing in front of a full house on Thursday evening in the semi-final clash with Gamba Osaka.: L" f4 B- U; T$ r- B- G2 L
After all the travelling and adjusting to a new timezone, the players are just looking forward to getting out onto the pitch and playing now. Only Dimitar Berbatov looks unlikely to do that having been struck down by a virus which has left him bedridden for the past 48 hours.: g/ K* _% s! n2 ?9 N, ], N
