Sir Alex Ferguson left the bulk of his big names back in England for Wednesday's 1-1 draw, but Rooney was among those to feature at Stadio Olimpico. 曼联,曼联BT,曼联在线视频,曼联图片,曼联新闻,曼联论坛# R3 s- J% C8 @" }1 [, J! L
He captained United for the first time and, having been sidelined with foot and ankle injuries already this season, is in no mood to sit out any more matches.

He added: "It was a good experience for a lot of the younger players coming in to the team. They handled it well and we got a good result.
"To play Champions League, Roma away is a massive game for some of the young lads, but they have come in and done really well, and I think everyone is proud of that.
"A lot of players stayed at home and it was a good chance for the young lads. The manager showed great belief in them and it was a great experience to come and see what the Champions League is all about."
