Carlos Tevez is eager for Manchester United to quickly reach a permanent deal as he looks to be reunited with Wayne Rooney in attack.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admitted over the weekend that he is 'quite confident' the champions will conclude a permanent deal for Tevez.
Reports have suggested Real Madrid have shown an interest in Tevez, but the player is keen to stay with United for the long term.
